Seven years with this child.
He sings songs about birds, and every night at dinnertime he recites his verse, thanking the fields, the rain, and the sun. He dances in his goofball shirt and marvels at story, but he doesn't like the parts where the characters aren't kind. When Peter says nasty things to the lost boys, he covers his ears with his hands.
He is fearless, and so often full of joy.
My wish for you, sweet boy, is that you stay young for as long as you can.
Being your mother has been an awfully big adventure. You make me believe in magic.

He's so cute. He looks a little elfish in this picture. I turned on a documentary last week on turtles thinking it would be all cute and sweet for Moriah. But the first five minutes were about the births of turtles, how they climb out of the sand and then race towards the water. But while they are racing towards the water, there's all these crabs that come out and grab them up for dinner. It was like we were watching Amittyville Horror at our house. Moriah was screaming and writhing in emotional pain. I'm sure those turtles have some happy stories after they get in the water, but unfortunately, we didn't make it that far. Such sweet, pure hearts.
Tricia, what a beautiful little whisper for Liam. He's such a sweet soul.
I'm ashamed that we missed this day. We'll find a way to send our love to him.
Happy birthday Liam. From all of us, who would love to hear these songs real soon!
